Assistive Technology

I really enjoyed this assignment. I did not know that there was so much assistance available on my computer concerning people with disabilities. I had never used the on-screen keyboard before, it was a neat feature. I also liked the magnifier tool. This assignment took me a while to do because I was unfamiliar with the tools and how to use them, but once I got used to using the it was easy and fun to do.

I thoroughly enjoyed this assignment. It was really interesting and easy to follow along with the tutorial. I did not know that g mail had some many features. This was my favorite assignment by far. It was a little time consuming but I felt like I had accomplished so much when I was finished. This program is really neat and I will use it again.

I have never used this site before, but I feel like it can be very useful to teachers. It was fairly easy to navigate around the page once I read the tutorial. I enjoyed all of the assignments this week. I have learned so much about different websites that are available to assist teacher.

Group Assignment

This assignment was a little confusing at first because I have never worked with “google group”. I was somehow left out of the group and was not able to contact the manager so that she could add me, but I emailed my information to another group member and I guess she sent it to the manager. I wrote my discussion for this assignment as well as replying to my group members’ discussion questions. This part was neat and I enjoyed being able to voice my opinion on matters that are important as a future teacher. This project was fun after I figured out how to do it. I gained information about websites that are available for teachers that I have never visited before. I misunderstood how to send the url and I sent my assignment blank. I am not computer savvy at all. I believe that google group will be a good source of communication for students in future classrooms because it is an easy way to share information over the computer.
